Day 1 : Arrival  at Kigali International airport and transfer Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Day 2 : Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Day 3: Transfer to Rwenzori mountains

Journey through the rolling hills of Kabale and head to Kasese ahead of your next adventure through the Rwenzori mountains. You will enjoy and enroute lunch and stop over to stretch out . Upon arrival in Kasese drive to Nyakalengeji  the town at the footstools of the Rwenzori mountains . Check in at your accommodation  for dinner and overnight .

Day 4: Nyakalengeji (1645m ) to Nyabitaba (2652m)

You day 4 is the start of your adventure in the Rwenzori mountains, after preparing and checking out of your accommodation , you will walk to the park gate . After the briefing and registration you will embark on your journey to Nyabitaba camp your accommodation for the night.  From Nyakalengeji , you will walk through the lush forests of the mountain ,climbing cliffs and several ladders .  After crossing bridges there is a steep ascent that is demands physical strength  and after this hike you will finally reach Nyabitaba camp after about 4-6hours of walking depending on the walking pace . Dinner and overnight at Nyabitaba camp .

Day 5: Nyabitaba(2652m)  to Johnmatte (3414m)

Enjoy an early breakfast in the dense forest of Nyabitaba camp after continue with your journey hiking to Johnmatte camp. Today’s walk is log it may take about 7-9hours , after crossing Kurt Shaffer bridge where two major rivers of Bujju and Mubuku meet you will ascent to the bamboo zone with short shrubs and several trees . Walk further through trail crossing several streams and after you will walk along the river Bujjuku showers place is abit boggy but very easy to walk through . You will then head out through a beautiful forest with trees covered with mismarking the areas amazingly beautiful. Spend the night at John matte enjoying the views of the surrounding portal peaks and on a clear day with clear skies you may start spotting Magherita peak on Mount Stanley.

Day 6: Johnmatte (3414m) to Bujjuku hut (3962m)

Continue with the challenge towards summiting Margherita Peak ,cross the river Bujjuku after John matte after which you will meet an adventurous board walk  in the lowerbigo bog a home to the giant lobelias.  After a small steep ascent you will head out to the upper bigo bog of the heather zone and here the giant groundsels dominent the atmosphere with quite some serious bog and some small streams of flowing water from the glacier. Walking further you will meet another interesting board walk that will lead you to the land of tussocks near lake Bujjuku. Continue with the gentle walk this day may take up to only 4hours for first hikers and for slow walkers they may use about 5-6hours after which you will reach Bujjuku huts a cold camp located in the middle of the Rwenzori mountains forming a triangle of the three major summits of Mount Stanely, Mount Speke and Mount baker.

Day 7:Bujjuku (3962m) to Ellena(4541m)

Today the hike will lead you to Ellena hut  a camp where the  summit of Magherita commences . After a delicious breakfast you will walk through the boggy trails of the showers of lake Bujjuku . Hike a steep ascent encouring steep ladders and latter you will head to the rocky areas with giant wild bananas and groundsels. Continue passing Scot Elliot pass , hiking the bouldering rocks to totally rocky area with no vegetation at all due to the harsh whether that is associated with this alpine zone . Check in at Ellena hut a camp that is very chilly and cold with temperature that are likely to drop below the negative degrees. Day 8: Ellena to Magherita (5109m) descend to kitandara camp (4034m)

Start early about 3am , led by your guide you will have your headlamp and prepare to conquer one of Africa’s highest peaks . Taking steady and marked steps you will hike until you reach the Stanley plateau an open area after head out to the glacier part where you will use ropes to get there . After the hike walk on the gacier with the ice axe as your walking stick . Upon reaching the peak raise a toast as you think about your achievement, take photos and after embark on the descend down to Kitandara camp. Kitandara is located near the lower Kitadara lake juss on the showers . You will slowly descend through the bouldering rocks down where you can easily view the beauty of the twin lakes of Kitandara and upon reaching the camp immense yourself in the beauty of the lake .

Day 9: Kitandara Hut to Guy Yeoman Hut (3,505m)

Wake up early , and start on the descend that will finally lead you out of the Rwenzori national park. After a steep accent from Kitandara camp you will find yourself at freshfield pass where the summit of mount Baker and mount Luigi did savor starts , here Congo can easily be viewed. The hike will take you through rocky slopes and after this you will head for the tussocks that have bog. Walk through the area descending the steep cliffs and the Bujongolo rock shelter . Day 10 : Guyeoman (3505)via nyabitaba  to Nyakalengeji (1645m)

The final days of the Rwenzori hike is finally here you will start with an early breakfast and embark on your journey to Nyakalengeji. Walk past the Kichuchu cliffs , through the forest bamboo trees . You will have lunch at Nyabitaba camp before you embark on your descend to Nyakalengeji. Walking through the dense forests you will then meet your guide who will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you can relax for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Game drive and boat cruise

The days starts with a very early morning game drive to catch the sunrise in Queen Elizabeth National Park. With packed breakfast you will head out to the park to lookout for the famous residents of the park among which include the big four lions , elephants , buffalos and leopards. Its a great time for game viewing watching the animals as they start off their day in the savannah grasslands. Queen Elizabeth is also eminent for tree climbing lions which you may see on your game drive if your are lucky.  After the game drive you will enjoy breakfast in the jungle before heading back to your accommodation.
